Payment Date Extensions

The New Market Town Council passed two ordinances that extended the due dates for two different bills. 

2024 1st Half Real Estate and Personal Property Tax Due Date Extension

The due date for the 2024 1st half of real estate and personal property tax has been changed from June 5th, 2024 to June 19th, 2024. This extension only impacts the 2024 1st half taxes. The due date for the 2nd half installments will remain December 5th, 2024. Payments received after the due date will be subject to a 10% penalty. 

May 2024 Water, Sewer, and Trash Bill Due Date Extension

The due date for the May 2024 ONLY Water, Sewer, and Trash Bill has been extended from May 15th, 2024 to June 15th, 2024. Penalties will be applied if not paid by June 25th, 2024. THIS WILL NOT AFFECT SHUTOFFS DUE TO NON-PAYMENT.
